Congratulations to the Hospitality and Tourism Chapter of WHS FCCLA for their hard work and commitment. For the first time in our chapter's history, we had 27 students compete at regionals. Competitors improved their knowledge and increased their skills across 11 different events.

Food Science students harvested compost, moved and turned compost into a new container, planted onions and potatoes!

Students also started mushrooms inside the classroom … we will see how things grow!!!

Food Science students harvested herbs and greens from their hydroponics systems (dill, cilantro, sage, kale and arugula) and basil from the garden before the Christmas break. They freeze dried some and dehydrated others. They even started the infusion process with various oils and vinegars!
