Affordable tuition through our In-state plus $1 per credit hour program, and the new specialisation in Data Science will make it possible for more international students to earn a graduate degree at SWOSU.

Let’s all thank Deborah for her first two weeks at the International Students Services Office. When we interviewed her, we asked her why she wanted the job. Deborah said she wanted to help international students and that this was a way to give back to the international student community. I loved her answer. And that’s exactly what she’s doing.

This morning we had a Coffee & Questions session in the lobby in Oklahoma Hall. We went over some of the most important topics for new international students, including transportation, banks, health insurance, applying for a driving license. Go dawgs!

We had a lot of fun today at the International Students Welcome Reception.
Thank you to all our guest speakers and amazing students for making this happen. Mark Brown, the Mayor of Weatherford, Dr. Diana Lovell - SWOSU President, Angelo Orefice - Weatherford Police Chief, Mike Karlin - Weatherford Fire Chief. I am especially grateful to Jill Grob, Deborah Ugwu and Tejas Devanand for their support.
