As School Resource Officers, one of our most important jobs is making sure our students know that they are not alone and help is available.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988. A trained Oklahoma dispatcher will answer, make sure you’re safe, and help connect you with resources that fit your situation.

You don't have to wait for a crisis or have the “right” words. Call or text 988 anytime, any day, for any reason.

Sometimes asking for help is the strongest thing you can do. And if a friend reaches out to you, don't ignore it—listen, support them, and help them find an adult or resource that can help.

🏫 What an incredible first week back to school, Weatherford!

As your Weatherford Public Schools School Resource Officers, we want to give a massive shout-out to all of our students, parents, teachers, and staff for making this first week of the 2026-2027 school year a huge success.

From high-fives in the morning drop-off lines to seeing everyone settled back into their classrooms, the energy across the district has been fantastic. Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we adjusted to the back-to-school traffic routines—you did awesome!

Our number one priority is keeping our schools safe, welcoming, and fun. Seeing so many smiling faces this week reminds us why we love serving this community. Let’s keep this positive momentum going all year long!

🚨🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL IS HERE — SLOW DOWN & STAY ALERT! 🚸

The school bells are ringing, backpacks are packed, and our roads are about to get A LOT busier! 📚🚌

As students head back to school, please remember that little feet may be walking, biking, or crossing near you. School zones, neighborhoods, and drop-off areas will be filled with extra activity.

School is just around the corner, and Officer Bushong and Officer Freeborn are officially geared up and ready to launch an out-of-this-world school year! We are so excited to welcome all our Eagles back to campus. Our number one mission is to keep your hallways safe, secure, full of positive energy and always aiming for the stars.

We officially kicked off **D.A.R.E. Keepin’ it REAL** with the 7th graders, and we’re excited for the weeks ahead! 🎉

We’ll be exploring **real-life choices, peer pressure, and how to stay true to yourself**—with plenty of laughs along the way. 😄
