Thank you to our friends over at Blue to Gold Law Enforcement Training for putting on three days of training covering topics such as Arrest Search and Seizure, Report Writing, Deescalation, and Duty to intervene. A big thank you to Weatherford Police Department, Texas for providing their training facility for the classes.

Today, Officer Mincheff and Officer Colvard had the honor of attending the Weatherford College Law Enforcement Academy graduation of class #69. A huge congratulations to the graduating class, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

Taste of Parker County was a big success today, it’s always great to see the community come together and have a great time. A big shoutout to Weatherford Police Department, Texas and the Weatherford College Law Enforcement Academy as well as Chief Coordinator Joesph Garcia for their help with the event.

Another successful campus cookout! Today WCPD had the pleasure of cooking and serving 900 hamburgers (a new record) to students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. We would like to thank the WC Fire Academy for their help with the event, as well as CBRE, and countless other departments that helped make this event possible. Lastly, a very special thank you to Chief Big for leading the grill team!
