Weatherford College rodeo is dominating Day 2 at the CNFR! 🏆

Huge shoutout to Jacee Graff for taking the Round 2 win in goat tying (5.9s), along with big performances from Mitchie Story, Macate Trammel, Jett Stewart, Belden Cox, and Acey Pinkston keeping WC at the top.

The battle continues into the championship round this Saturday, June 20!

Acey Pinkston set the pace in Casper, taking the top position in the first round of barrel racing with a 13.62! Our team ropers are also heating up the arena, locking down the 3rd and 4th place spots.

Ty Waid has been named to the NJCAA All-American second team as a designated hitter. This marks the ninth All-American honor for WC in the 2025-26 academic year and the fifth consecutive year for the Coyote baseball team.

Waid tied for 7th in the nation with 28 home runs, matching the WC school record set by Robin Villeneuve. Waid will continue his career in the SEC at the University of Missouri next year.

WC Rodeo is making history once again! For the first time, both the men's and women's teams head to the CNFR in Casper, Wyoming, from June 14-20. The women's team, ranked No. 11 nationally, clinched their spot by winning the Lone Star Region, while the men secured the reserve championship.

Matteo Cardoso has been named a 2026 ITA All-American, finishing the season ranked No. 8 in the final ITA National Singles Rankings, the only Region V player in the top 10. Key to the Coyotes' national appearance, Cardoso triumphed in the Flight 1 consolation semifinal against Collin College's Luis Oliva, 8-4. This marks WC’s eighth All-American honor this academic year, breaking the previous record of seven set in 2024-25. https://vist.ly/57k2m
