💙Students at Garner ISD decorated bags with special pictures and messages of encouragement for the firefighters battling the Ross Fire. During GAP, our students helped pack those bags with meals and today, they made their way into the hands of Governor Greg Abbott!

What a special reminder to our students that their acts of kindness can travel farther than they ever imagined. We are so proud of our students for their service and efforts to support those working so hard to protect our area.

A special thank you to Courtney Hernandez with Sysco for bringing us this opportunity and giving our students a meaningful way to serve!

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the firefighters, first responders, and everyone affected by the Ross Fire. 💙

☕💙 We had a great time at our first Parent Café this morning! We had meaningful conversation, connection, and learning. We are so excited to partner with Serenity Youth Impact to bring these valuable parenting resources from Cook Children’s to our Garner families.

Parenting doesn’t come with an instruction manual, but we can keep adding tools to our toolbox! 🧰💙

The next Parent Café is scheduled for Thursday, September 1 at 4:30 pm in the elementary library where we will be discussing Ages and Stages. Join us! 🙂

Day 2 serving our community at GAP! 💙

Our students jumped right in to decorate and pack bags of food for the firefighters battling the Ross Fire. We are so proud to see our students learning that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.

What a great way to start our year at GAP—learning, serving, and taking care of our community! 💙

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the fire. 🙏💙
