Our orchestra concert is coming up next Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the SWOSU Fine Arts Auditorium! 🎶✨

We are especially excited to feature composer Nathaniel Puntsack and his orchestra piece L.E.D. 🎼

Join us for an evening of inspiring music and great performances! 🎻🎺🎶 Don’t miss it!

Biography -
Nathaniel began playing the clarinet for nearly a decade and has also been a composer for five years. As with all new skills, composition was not easy for Nathaniel to acquire. After studying music theory at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, he gained the figurative tools needed to begin his compositional journey. The first bite of success for Nathaniel's career was receiving first place in the International Clarinet Association's Composition Competition in 2022. Since then, he has been an avid composer with nearly 50 completed works ranging from unaccompanied solos to wind band and orchestral repertoire. While working towards bachelor's degrees in clarinet performance and music education at SWOSU, Nathaniel also studies composition under Professor Micheal Barnes and Mr. Benjamin N. Brody.

🎶 SWOSU Symphony Orchestra Season Finale 🎶

Join us for an exciting evening of music on April 21 at 7:00 PM at the SWOSU Fine Arts Center Auditorium!

This season finale concert features a dynamic and diverse program, including:
✨ Academic Festival Overture – Brahms
✨ Polovtsian Dances – Borodin
✨ Pirates of the Caribbean – Klaus Badelt

We are also proud to present the world premiere of L.E.D. by American composer Nathaniel Pundsack, written especially for the SWOSU Symphony Orchestra.

🎤 Special Guest Artist:
Soprano Katie Pierce, JAC Concerto Competition Winner, performing Strauss’s Czardas

🎻 The concert will open with the SWOSU Festival Youth Orchestra, showcasing the next generation of talented musicians.
