Each school year, we host special events to help financially support the future of our beloved school, including our annual LIONS’ GALA and GOLF TOURNAMENT Proceeds from these events directly support our PAVING THE WAY Building Campaign, helping us prepare for the next 25 years and beyond.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we are able to provide the facilities, resources, and opportunities needed to serve our students and continue advancing the mission of Weatherford Christian School.

Most recently since 2024, we have been blessed to complete several significant campus improvements, including the extension of our outer loop and the addition of more than 200 parking spaces. As we continue to grow, our next major priority is funding a multi-court gymnasium while also preparing for the future needs of our school community including:
✅ Additional security fencing
✅ A guard shack
✅ A Pre-K and Kindergarten elementary building
✅ An early childhood building and expanded program
✅ A baseball field

We are deeply grateful for every donor, family, and member of our school community who chooses to invest in the future of Weatherford Christian School.

PASSING NOTES...back in the day

Our 8th grade students in Mrs. Penny Fell's English class have been reading the novel "Chains" by Laurie Halse Anderson. To help with the application of how spies were able to communicate safely during the Revolutionary War, the students got to "pass notes" using invisible ink.

"The letters were written in invisible ink, what the British call sympathetic stain...When the paper was held over a candle, the heat made the hidden words appear." -- Laurie Halse Anderson

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

25 YEARS OF PRAYING AT THE POLE -- 25 YEARS OF GOD'S STORY STARTING IN PRAYER

SEE YOU AT THE POLE 2026 -- from Pre-K to 12th grade, we gathered together to PRAY for each other, our school, and our nation.

Joey Willis, New River Lead Pastor, reminded our secondary students to not wait to come to Jesus, but to be present and recognize our need for Jesus daily.

"This should be the motto of every follower of Jesus Christ. No matter how dark and hopeless a situation might seem, never stop PRAYING!" -- Billy Graham

To God be the glory forever for He is good!

MEET DR. LYDIA BURTON -- she will be joining as our ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL! 🦁💙

"I am so excited and honored to join the Weatherford Christian School faculty as the Elementary Assistant Principal! Our family has been part of the WCS family for the past five years, and during that time, we have experienced firsthand what makes this school so special.

My husband, Miles, and I have two girls, Maven (1st grade) and Jerri (4th grade), who have both attended WCS since kindergarten. We feel incredibly blessed to watch them learn and thrive in a Christ-centered environment. The teachers and staff at WCS have loved, encouraged, and cared for our girls like family, while continually pointing them toward Christ. That has meant more to our family than I can put into words.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve a school that has already poured so much into our family. I look forward to working alongside our amazing elementary teachers and staff, supporting our students, and helping continue the strong sense of faith, family, and community that makes WCS such a special place."

Welcome!
