DEPARTMENT: Accounting

GAS, Inc. is searching for an accounting associate based in but not limited to the Elk City area.

Job Functions:
Position is responsible for daily bookkeeping functions and accounting tasks. Duties include but are not limited to invoicing customers, managing accounts, preparing reports, collecting payments, accounts payable tasks and other clerical responsibilities. Associate position will operate QuickBooks Online, GAS internal database, as well as interface with customer software portals. Candidate must excel in professional communication, verbal and written.

Qualifications:
An understanding of bookkeeping functions
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
Fast learner with excellent work ethic
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred
Background in related position, 1-year professional experience in similar position preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
Excellent writing and communication skills

Work Schedule: This will be an 8:00 AM – 5:00 P.M, Monday-Friday position unless there is a company event that requires to be worked outside of regular business hours.

Wages: Based on experience, determined at job offer.

Another successful Parks and Recreation Career and Resource Fair.

We had over 60 students represent SWOSU well today. 20 agencies from all over Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas were ready to hire students. Within these agencies we had close to 20 alumni come back to help with the process.
