Today, we welcome 20 new EMT students and 19 Fall Term 1 ECA students to the program! Next week, 20 paramedic students will return as they begin their final semester.

The growth of our EMS programs over the past five years has been incredible. What once averaged 30–40 students each semester has grown to 59 students this fall. That growth speaks volumes about the strength of EMS and the commitment to developing highly qualified EMS professionals right here in our communities.

Congratulations to our newest Emergency Care Attendant (EMR/ECA) graduates on an outstanding achievement a 100% first-attempt National Registry pass rate! 💯🚑

This marks 2 of our 3 EMR/ECA classes earning a 100% first-attempt pass rate, and across all EMR/ECA cohorts, our graduates have achieved an impressive 96% first-attempt National Registry pass rate.

These results reflect the dedication of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the high standards we strive to uphold every day. We are incredibly proud of each graduate and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their communities.

Who says infectious diseases have to be boring? 🦠❤️

Our Paramedic students put a new twist on learning today by turning infectious diseases into a “Dating Game — Disease Edition!”

Students became the diseases and used clues based on pathophysiology, transmission, signs/symptoms, PPE, and treatment to help their classmates identify the pathogen.

A fun way to move beyond memorization and focus on understanding the why behind the medicine. Great learning happens when students can connect knowledge to real-world patient care!

Summer classes are well underway, with our ECA, EMT, and Paramedic students making great progress as they build confidence in patient assessments and scenario-based training.
