Visualize a high-achieving student in your class or school. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Does he/she have a good attitude?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Is he/she on time for class?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Does he/she have materials for class?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Is he/she focused during class?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Is he/she involved in activities at school?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being a better student, or a high-achieving student, begins with visualizing what that type of student looks like. What I mean by this is to do a deep dive into how does a "good student" act, feel, think....? What stands out about that person? Make a list of character traits. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✳️Start with one thing, and begin to create that "new" student in you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Please note, I am not talking about being a better math student or a better reading student here. Those are specific academic skills that may need help. However, it all begins with creating a better student then adding the skills. If someone adds the skills but does not change their other habits, then only 50% of the issue has been corrected.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
