🍎 The fight against hunger is on! 🥫
We’re challenging Weatherford to come together to fight hunger and beat Clinton!
This week is Custer County Conflict Week, where we compete with Clinton Public Schools to benefit the Food & Resource Center. As the week comes to a close, we want to finish strong and bring as much as we can for our Food & Resource Center.
Clinton Schools is stepping it up this year by having a match of $2000 by businesses in town once they reach a goal. So Weatherford needs to step up as well!!
What can you do to help?
Bring your food (canned food, dry box food, and pasta) and any monetary donations for the Food & Resource Center forward!
🥫 Where to bring your donations:
The Weatherford High Key Club will have a booth at the community pep rally to collect cans and money.
$1 counts as 6 pounds of food!
📣 Pep Rally and Splash a Player 🌊
The pep rally will be held Thursday at 7 PM, and at the pep rally we will have 3 players that you will be able to splash.
Splashing options:
$1 for a little cup of water
$5 for a bigger cup of water
$20 for a bucket of water
🏆 Our goal:
Last year we collected 1345 pounds of food, and in 2020 we collected 8003 pounds. So our goal this year is to make this the greatest amount of food donated in Weatherford’s history! While also beating Clinton
