Winter Recital 2026-our biggest recital yet! So proud of these 38 students who gave it their all on stage this last Sunday!

Congratulations to these amazing students who played for judges at the Weatherford Music Teachers Association Fall Festival this last weekend! Out of 11 students who presented pieces to the judges, 9 of them were awarded the ranking of Superior Plus (the highest score you can get), and 2 of them were rated Superior (the 2nd highest). We are so proud of them and all of their hard work!!

Another recital in the books! These amazing students played beautiful works by Bach, Clementi, Schumann, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Linn, Chopin, and ended the night with the first movement of Grieg’s piano concerto. Everyone has worked so hard over the last few months and it has been such a privilege to watch their technique, talent and artistry blossom under my instruction. To say that I am proud is an huge understatement!

Working on Debussy’s beautiful “La fille aux cheveux de lin” with student Ryder. It’s a great day for music!

Working on the powerful Grieg piano concerto with my student Andrew. It’s hard to believe that after only a little over 3 years of piano study, he is tackling this difficult piece. Excited to perform the orchestra part alongside him next month at our student recital-his last one before going off to university!

We’ve been loving our new(ish) studio space! Made complete by our beautiful 7.5 foot Yamaha C7 grand piano!

Congratulations to Lilyahna who is out February student of the month! Lilyahna comes to every lesson practiced and prepared, always has such a great attitude and loves to take on musical challenges. She also loves to perform and share her music with others. Because of those things we celebrate her and all of her piano accomplishments!

Piano tuning day is always a great day! We are thankful for Michael Anderson and Piano Rebuilders of Weatherford who so skillfully maintains our Yamaha C7 grand and Kawai upright!
