🪪Did you know that you are required to be LICENSED to offer lash extension services?

⏱️The licensing program is 320-hours long.

📝You have to take a written examination with the state and pass with 70% or higher.

🧖‍♀️You have to take a practical examination with the state and pass with 70% or higher.

👮🏻Your license is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

🚫To perform lash extension services without this license is against the law.

👩🏻‍💻We offer a “hybrid” program consisting of both virtual online education and practical on campus education.

🤲🏼We offer small class sizes for more individualized attention.

Still interested? Here are some of the requirements for Esthetician professional licensing.

🕦You must be 16 years old to attend a licensing program. It takes 750 educational “clock hours” (about 24 weeks at Bloom) to become eligible to take your written licensing examination. 70% is passing.

📝You must also be 17 years old to take your professional licensing examinations.

💆🏻‍♀️After passing your written licensing examination, you are eligible to take your practical licensing examination. You will basically perform a facial on a mannequin head. 70% is passing.

💵Then you apply for your license with TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation).
