One of the best parts of fall is getting outside and exploring the changing colors, sounds, and textures of the world around us. 🍂

Take your family on a nature walk and let your children lead the way! Collect leaves, notice interesting textures, listen for familiar sounds, and gather natural treasures along the way. When you get back inside, keep the fun going by sorting your finds or creating a nature-inspired collage. 🌿

The best learning happens when children are encouraged to ask, “What do you think will happen?”

From baking and building to growing plants and designing scavenger hunts, everyday activities can spark big questions, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Try one of these activities at home and let your child predict, experiment, test, and discover! 🔍💡

Straight from our Academics team, here are our September Book of the Month recommendations! 📚

These stories offer something for learners at every stage.

For infants and toddlers, reading the same book again and again helps build important early literacy skills. Books like Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? make repetition fun while helping little ones build pre-reading skills. 🧠

For elementary-aged learners, Kid Athletes: True Tales of Childhood from Sports Legends brings inspiring stories to life. Children learn about leadership, perseverance, and achievement while imagining that these influential athletes were once kids just like them. 🌟

What books are your family reading this month? 📖

💡 Questions are an essential part of the learning process. But instead of giving children all of the answers quickly, try letting them explore the possibilities.

🚀 Curiosity sparks critical thinking, inspires problem-solving, and builds confidence to tackle new challenges!

When children have the space to ask questions, explore possibilities, and discover answers for themselves, they’re building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills! That's why STEM is important. 🚀🌟

🎂 Happy Birthday, Maria Montessori! ✨

As we celebrate Maria Montessori’s birthday, we honor her timeless belief in the potential of every child. More than a century later, her spark continues to light the path for children around the world, nurturing curiosity, independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
