✨SAE Spotlight✨

We are so proud to highlight the hard work, leadership, and community involvement of Angelina Zuno and Jade Royes! Throughout the summer, they have been creating a community garden on Fort Leonard Wood, growing a variety of plants and working with multiple organizations to bring this project to life.

This project is a wonderful example of students taking their learning beyond the classroom and making a positive impact in their community. Their dedication, initiative, and commitment to service are truly something to celebrate!

Want to support their project and enjoy some fresh produce? Extra produce from the garden will be available for purchase at the Pulaski County Farmers Market this Saturday!

This incredible opportunity was made possible through a National FFA Grant. We are grateful for the support that allows our students to turn their ideas into meaningful experiences and community projects.

All projects must be at the ag building on Monday, August 10th before noon.

This is a GREAT way to show off your SAE & earn some FFA participation points, and earn points for your state degree!

Let me know if you have any questions!

This past week, I had the opportunity to watch Katarina Martin compete at the Missouri State Fair with her horses, Polly and Maude.

Katarina has dedicated countless hours to training and caring for her horses, and her hard work paid off. She returned home with several impressive accomplishments, including:
1st Place – Gaited Western Pleasure
6th Place – Poles
6th Place – Barrels

Area Officer Training is complete!

Today, part of our officer team traveled to Willow Springs to participate in Area Officer Training. Throughout the day, they took part in engaging breakout sessions designed to strengthen their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while connecting with fellow FFA leaders from across the area.

The day also included a farm tour where students had the opportunity to learn about innovative agricultural practices and see modern farming techniques in action. Experiences like these allow our students to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom, explore real-world applications of agriculture, and gain valuable leadership experiences that will benefit them throughout the year.

A special thank you to the Willow Springs Ag Department and Poor Farms for providing such an outstanding learning opportunity and investing in the growth of our student leaders.
