WASH (Waynesville Area Soccer for Homeschoolers)

WASH (Waynesville Area Soccer for Homeschoolers) Fun weekly soccer for preK-12th graders! WASH is a fun soccer parent led instructional program for all homeschoolers ages 3 and up.

We've been WASHing since around 2005! This is not a competitive group...just something fun to give you and your children instruction in soccer skills and a place to try them out! Our purposes are: to learn soccer skills, have fun, practice encouraging one another, and meet new friends, honoring each other in all we do. Each Friday night we'll open in prayer, have warm ups, and then divide into age based groups for skill instruction, practice, and some scrimmage play. Those registered ahead of time meet at Bowman Park in Waynesville on Friday evenings starting the 2nd or so week in August from 6:30pm to 8:30pm or dark, whichever is earlier (3-4 year olds don't go past 8pm). The 2022 registration fee is $25 per child (max of $85/family), which covers the entire season. Annual animal-themed WASH shirts run around $12 and are optional. Registration open for WASH 2025 through July 15th (unless we reach capacity sooner). (Registrations after July 15th will be waitlisted, and those players will only be added if there is still room in those age groups. There will also be a late fee of $5/player.)
