UPDATE:

Little Explorer's Discovery Academy has made changes once more to its structure to provide the best Montessori Learning resources & opportunities for parents & children. For this reason, we have updated our approach once more.

COMING SOON AT THE END OF THIS MONTH (SEPTEMBER), LEAD will now offer general and customized blended Montessori resources & learning opportunities for children 2.5-6 years old.

Hello everyone!

As you all know LEAD closed its doors this past May due to our move.

After visiting with a few and realizing several will be continuing their child’s Pre-K learning at home, I have decided to offer monthly at home blended Montessori lesson downloads through LEAD. These lessons will include 4 weeks worth of blended Montessori Pre-K lessons, at home learning progress tracking to make sure your little one is growing, daily activities and resource downloads to help teach your little one at home. The lessons will also provide Montessori activities that can be done with things at home (printed activity not required) as well as extension activities that can be downloaded and printed. I will also include links to all of LEAD (Little Explorer’s Discovery Academy) favorite Montessori items!

These lessons will utilize the blended Montessori approach used by LEAD. Blended Montessori provides a mix of self discovery and parent led examples (aligned to standards) to make sure your little one is Kindergarten ready:) Lessons will include all Montessori aspects of language, mathematics, sensorial, practical life and culture studies built in while aligning to learning standards and include a special monthly theme with hands on learning activities that are budget friendly! All lessons will be parent and teacher friendly so you can easily understand and follow along. Of course, I am always here too to assist in anyway I can too!

These lessons will be available starting September 2023 for a small monthly fee or can be purchased at a discounted yearly fee for all monthly downloads. New lessons will be released monthly with a special “Montessori theme” (universal learning aware of all cultures and practices)

UPDATES ON THE PLAY CAFE & MONTESSORI PRE-K SESSIONS.

PLAY CAFE NOW SCHEDULED TO OPEN APRIL 7, 2023.

PLAY CAFE UPDATES:
**Due to my inability to secure a consistent long term sitter for the play cafe, the play cafe will NOW OPEN APRIL 7, 2023.

For extra safety measures, the play cafe will NOW be available through a MEMBERSHIP & APPOINTMENT ONLY. Membership is free but is required in order to reserve your play cafe session.

Play Cafe hours will now be on Friday's & Sunday's but these days can vary week to week/month to month and is dependent upon available play cafe sessions. Space is limited, so make sure to reserve your play cafe sessions asap!

We will now be offering PART TIME AND FULL TIME Montessori Pre-K class sessions 4 DAYS A WEEK, MONDAY-THURSDAY. Please see our website for updates on registering for our flexible Montessori Pre-K sessions!

SO MANY EXCITING UPDATES FOR Little Explorer's Discovery Academy!

ALSO........NEW PLAY CAFE ADDITION COMING MARCH 2023!

We are excited to announce we are now a recognized American Montessori Society Member School! You can now find us in the AMS database at https://amshq.org/Families/Find-A-School/1189296

To meet these credentials, we have made some changes to our program.

As an American Montessori Society member school, our Pre-K classes (sessions) will be for children 3-5 years old and aim to provide quality learning opportunities for all Pre-K aged children by offering flexible session (class) options to all families. Our goal is to foster a love of learning early on by offering Montessori inspired, play based exploration & discovery opportunities tailored around your child's interest, with learning incorporated in social, emotional and academics.

COMING SOON THIS SPRING (MARCH)!

In addition to our LEAD Pre-K sessions, we open up the facility as a Montessori inspired indoor play space and cafe, called LEAD Learning Center & Play Cafe, 3 days a week for children 6 months-7 years, sibling helpers (8-11 years), and their care givers.

Our Play cafe will provide an indoor play space for care givers to bring their children ages 6 months to 7 years to come play and explore in a safe, Montessori inspired environment. We even provide a cozy corner for care givers and sibling helpers to relax, grab a cup of coffee, tea, specialty drink and a snack, color or draw (if thats your thing) or play a game, all while allowing your child(ren) to safely play and get their "wiggles out".
