On Wednesday, Ms. Megan’s Pre-k class did a super fun activity where we worked on our number concepts and operations along with connecting numerals to their quantities but creating a “math collage”.

We even added a little extra to it by making an addition sentence to determine how many of our materials we would need to put on our collage.

The kids had such a great time with this activity! Plus they turned out so cool!

Today, the younger toddlers got to experience our first sensory bin!! The next two weeks we're talking about bugs so our science is centered round the bugs 🐞🐛🐜🪳🕷️

The kids are asked to find the bugs hidden in the "dirt". There's a pinecone in the sensory bin with some "leaves" and sticks with different bugs that can crawl and fly!

Position: Summer Day Camp Staff (part-time/full-time options)
Hours: Facility open 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; individual schedules vary

About the role:
Join our team to create a safe, fun, and memorable summer for children. Staff lead daily activities, supervise field trips to local attractions, and organize group games, crafts, and outdoor play to keep campers active and engaged.

Key responsibilities:
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and games
• Plan and lead group projects, crafts, and outdoor recreation
• Chaperone local field trips and follow safety procedures
• Maintain a positive, inclusive camp atmosphere and communicate with parents/staff as needed

Ideal candidates:
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to maintain a safe environment
• Previous childcare, camp, or activity-leader experience preferred but not required
