🏀💙 The Final Game at Highland 💙🏀
The final basketball game at Highland has come to an end. The gym is quiet now. The lights have been turned off, the crowd has gone home, and the echoes of cheers have faded into memories.
Yet one thing still shines.
The scoreboard glows in the darkness—a reminder of every game played, every victory celebrated, every lesson learned, and every student who stepped onto that court with pride.
Tonight, it isn’t just a scoreboard. It’s a symbol of Highland’s story.
Though the lights may be off, the spirit of Highland will never fade. The memories made within these walls will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of generations of students, families, staff, and alumni.
Once an Aviator, always an Aviator. 💙✈️🏀

🤎✈️ **A Farewell to Highland Families** ✈️🤎

As I say goodbye to the students and families of Highland Elementary, my heart is full of gratitude. This past year has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding years of my career. The love, support, and sense of family that make Highland so special are things I will carry with me forever. Together, we have shared laughter, tears, celebrations, challenges, and countless memories. Through it all, your children have been the reason for every smile and every effort.

I want every family to know that your child was never "just a student." They were our kids. They were celebrated, encouraged, and deeply loved. I looked forward to the daily hugs, high fives, fist bumps, smiles, and "I love you." Those moments meant more than you will ever know. Please know that your children left footprints on my heart. Watching them learn, grow, and shine has been a privilege I will always treasure. While the doors of Highland may close, the memories, relationships, and love we shared will never fade.

Thursday, we will gather for our final walkthrough. I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces one more time as we walk the halls together, share memories, and celebrate the place that has meant so much to so many. It will be one last opportunity to come together as the Highland family we have always been.

Thank you for trusting me with your greatest treasures. It has been an honor to be part of your children's lives. Onward and Upward, Highland. You will forever have a special place in my heart. 🤎✈️
