There are still two sessions of our newest class, Intro to Latin American Music!

New Year, New Fine Arts Academy Courses! Explore the vibrant musical landscape of Latin America, discovering its rich roots and diverse rhythms. This course will deepen your understanding of this captivating genre's evolution. Travel around Latin America with us to learn how music is a good tool to learn about others. Woodwinds 2026 Summer Camp is open for registration! 🎉 The 5-day camp will allow students to meet and work with like-minded musicians from other schools in the area, develop an improved knowledge of how music works and how they can become better contributing members in their school band programs, and perform music from the camp and present their progress to their parents and the surrounding community after the camp. Any woodwind student looking to improve their skills and be more successful during the school year is encouraged to attend. From developing strong woodwind fundamentals to becoming a better auditioner and performer for the Pennsylvania Music Educator Association (PMEA) honors groups and festivals, students will find all they need to be the best well-rounded musicians they can be. Our Women Artists Art History class is learning about Abstract Expressionism this week and different techniques artists used to make these paintings! We took a break from lecture and went into the studio to experience some of these practices 🎨
