That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 season!

Our Spirit Sting recipient this week is Emmarson Anderson!

Emmarson is a Freshman, Nursing Major from Beaver Falls, PA.

To Emmarson, being a Waynesburg University Cheerleader is about showing pride and support for our sports teams and community.

This season Emmarson is looking forward to making more memories with the team and continuing to gain new skills throughout the rest of this season. Her favorite aspect of the season has been building a family-like bond with everyone on the team.

When asked what advice Emmarson had for aspiring cheerleaders, she responded as follows: “ My advice for aspiring cheerleaders is to do everything on your bucket list. Cheering in college has brought so many new friendships. Being a WU cheerleader is such a blessing. “

Thank you Emmarson for being a reliable member of our team! We can always depend on your strength to set the foundation for our stunts and trust that you are there to support all. Your kindness and relatability encourages us all to grow closer as a team!🐝

Our Spirit Sting recipient this week is Isabella Spotti!
Isabella is a Sophomore, Early Childhood Education Major from Midway, PA.

To Isabella, being a Waynesburg University Cheerleader means being able to show support to her friends and making new friends.

This season Isabella is looking forward to making more bonds with her teammates and getting closer to them. Her favorite part of the season so far has been cheer camp week where a lot of bonding with teammates occurred.

When asked what advice Isabella had for aspiring cheerleaders, she responded as follows: “My advice is to go out of your comfort zone and do something new for yourself. It’ll open lots of new opportunities and friendships for you.”
