Britney Po***ck
WU Education 2023

“I graduated from WU in 2023 with a Secondary English degree. After four years of teaching, I am proud to be entering my third year at Brownsville Area High School, where I continue to grow as an educator and build meaningful connections with my students. I enjoy creating engaging, student-centered lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and confidence across multiple ELA style classes. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching students discover their own voice and realize that their ideas have value.”

Have a great year!

Abby Rhodes - Class of 2025

“This is my second year teaching at Waynesburg Elementary School, and I can honestly say I LOVE my job!

I love making memories with my students every single day, watching them learn and grow, and creating a classroom they feel safe, welcomed, and excited to be in. I truly feel like I’m doing what I was meant to do.

I’m also incredibly thankful for Waynesburg University and the education I received there. I truly felt prepared and ready to take on my own classroom from day one. I’m so grateful for all of the professors who poured their time, knowledge, and passion into us and worked so hard to prepare us to teach the next generation.”

Have a blessed year, Abby!
