The Waynesboro Area School District (WASD) is offering a free Senior Citizen Gold Card to residents who are 65 years or older and live within the Waynesboro School District. The Gold Card provides free general admission to all district home athletic events when presented at the gate. Eligible residents should bring their driver’s license to the district office located at 210 Clayton Avenue.

Parents/guardians should review and update student address and contact information in the parent portal (Sapphire) by July 30th to help ensure transportation is in place for the first day of school. Changes made after July 30th may result in transportation being delayed.

Bus routes, stops, and times will change in the parent portal as the transportation department creates system updates this summer. If bus route information is missing, we appreciate your patience as we update our system.

Today kicks off the free summer breakfast and lunch program at Waynesboro Area School District. This is open to all children ages 18 or younger. There is no requirement to get these meals. Pick up sites include: Fairview Elementary, Summitview Elementary, Mowrey Elementary and Valley View Village. Pick up times are from 11:30am to 12:00pm.
