CHECK THIS OUT: This Jellyfish Cloud was spotted in Waynesboro this morning. It's from this morning's SpaceX launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral.

This happens on launches before sunrise or after sunset. Water v***r from the rocket's exhaust freezes and forms tiny ice crystals at very high altitudes (30-60 miles high). Even though it's dark on the ground, the rocket and exhaust plume are high enough in the atmosphere to catch the direct rays from the Sun.

Normally, we can't see these in Mississippi since most launches are aimed eastward into the Atlantic, which causes them to be below our horizon.

We enjoyed the "Let's Give 'Em Something to Taco About" birthday party for Heather and Sunnja today. Lots of good food from El Costeno and the ladies received many birthday gifts and cards.
