Mrs. Jessi, Mrs. Renee, and Mrs. Julie’s 3rd graders enjoyed a fun field trip yesterday to the Lizard Thicket Farm & Adventure Park right here in our hometown! ❤️
The kids enjoyed a wagon ride around the farm, feeding the animals in the petting zoo, navigating the corn maze, climbing hay bales, racing the peddle cars, learning about pumpkins, jumping on the bounce pad, playing in the corn pit, picking out the perfect pumpkin to bring home, and of course shopping at the gift shop!

This week Dr. Kelli Jarrett’s Government classes studied elections and the process of how the President is elected. They played “Path to the Presidency” to understand strategies that earn a political seat.
They also took polls of the population’s understanding of the Electoral College. They interviewed all ages, from elementary kids to employees. The students taught the content if someone did not have a strong understanding of the Electoral College.
