🎉 Big congratulations to Ms. Sharplin's Contemporary Health students! 👏❤️

Our students are now officially certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED through ProTrainings.com! 🩸🩹

To earn their certification, each student had to score an 80% or higher on the written exam and successfully pass a hands-on skills evaluation check-off right here in class.

We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning life-saving skills. Way to go, future lifesavers! 🩺✨

Today, we're giving a huge shoutout to Noah Bishop, a Diesel Mechanics WBL student placed at Mr. Craft's Diesel Shop. Noah tackled a major task by pulling the transmission out of a bus to complete routine maintenance!

Incredible work getting under the hood and getting the job done, Noah! Keep powering forward! 🚌⚙️

Future educators in action! 🍎✨

Students in the Educator Preparation program at Wayne County Career Technical Center recently attended the Educators Rising Fall Leadership Conference at the Brandon Civic Center.

Our students connected with future teachers from across Mississippi, explored past winning competition projects, and got inspired for the upcoming state competition! Over the next few months, they’ll be hard at work preparing their projects to represent WCCTC at the Educators Rising State Conference in February 2027.

We are so proud of these future leaders and can't wait to see the difference they’ll make in education! 💙📚

🚑 Special Guest Alert! 🚑

A huge thank you to Caleb Street, a paramedic from Wayne General Hospital (WGH), for stopping by to talk with our 2nd year Health Science students! 🩺✨

Caleb shared valuable insights about rewarding careers in EMS and even gave our students an up-close look inside the ambulance. We love seeing our future healthcare professionals get hands-on learning experiences from local heroes! 💙🙌

Wayne County FFA was excited to host the MS FFA Black Gold Federation Meeting on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Maynor Creek! ☀️

FFA members from Northeast Jones, South Jones, West Jones, Mize, Raleigh, and Wayne County came together for a fun afternoon of leadership, teamwork, and friendly competition!

Our members enjoyed an awesome workshop led by Mississippi FFA State Sentinel, McKinley Johnson, focused on communicating as leaders and strengthening their leadership skills. 🗣️⭐

After the workshop, everyone competed against one another in the Ag Olympics! 💪🌾 From teamwork to a little friendly competition, our FFA members had a blast!

🏆 Congratulations to Northeast Jones FFA for taking home the Ag Olympics Trophy!

Thank you to all of the chapters who came out and made it such a great afternoon! We’re proud to see FFA members from across the Black Gold Federation building friendships, developing leadership skills, and making memories together! 💙💛
