****Roadway is back open!

Charles Perry Ave (GA Hwy 24S) near Sunset Street within the city limits of Sardis, Georgia has been shut down for an undetermined amount of time by Georgia DOT as they rescue a piece of equipment that became stuck while doing some repair/maintenance work.

As soon as we know more, we will post it.

As an alternative you can use Girard Ave (Ga Hwy 23S) to Tom Bargeron Rd or Old Sardis Rd to get around the closure.
