We hope you'll join us for adult programs coming up this week!
From "Rules of the Road" (Basics of Investing) with Edward Jones, to Flower Arranging with Eichholz Flowers, to our Gold Star Party, and more, we have a lot of special things coming up.

Plus, the Noah's Ark Sculpture class is a multi-generational workshop open to ages 8 to 88! It takes place at the Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies at 13 South Church Street, Waynesboro.

For more information or to sign up, visit us or call (717) 762-3335. (Exception: registration for the ceramics program is at waynesboroceramics.org)
We also invite you to visit the Calendar at ahmfl.org, or pick up a paper calendar at the library's front desk.

FUN FRIDAY: Every Friday we share one fun thing to do online for free!

This week we're sharing Astronomy Picture of the Day, where a new picture of the cosmos is uploaded everyday with an explanation written by a professional astronomer.

Wow! Wednesdays 💫

Did you know you can get ancestry for free through the library? Ancestry is a really useful tool to help track down vital documents in your genealogy search, direct you to other resources, or give you a jumping off point for deeper research.

Get a deeper insight into your family's past: I found out my great-grandmother was a servant at only 14 through census records, and more information about her father who she never met.

What do you want to learn about your family's history?

Tea with an Author is coming next week!

To learn more about the event, just scroll down. This week, we are featuring each author in a post, and today's author is Jessica Ainsworth!

Jessica Ainsworth is a local author who has been publishing since 2020. Depending on the book, readers may also know her as J.J. Ainsworth or Jade Ains. Across those names, she has written marketing books, nonfiction on the war in Afghanistan, and romantic comedies, with a military romance coming in 2027.
Jessica has always written wherever her interests take her, which probably explains the genre hopping. She has spoken about self-publishing, participated in book signings and author events, and loves the creative side of bringing a book from idea to finished product.
For now, writing has taken a bit of a back seat while she works on her PhD and dissertation. Her research interests include satellite imagery, natural disasters, and volcanic activity, proving that she is, by her own admission, a huge nerd. She lives in Mercersburg with her husband, three kids, and two dogs.

More About "Tea with an Author"
Join us as we meet local authors, find out about their work & how they got started in writing, and enjoy a casual time of chatting and enjoying refreshments together.
Book signing to follow. Authors will have books available for sale, for those who are interested.
