Clubs, activities, and athletics are off to a great start. Look at this fantastic turn out for the first meeting of the Black Student Union!

We encourage all of our students to find some organization that helps them feel connected at WMHS. Students, if you’re still looking to find your place, there are many ways you can find information about our activities offerings: daily announcements, weekly newsletters, hallway flyers, and the video screens around the school. The class of 2027 celebrated their Senior Sunrise this morning. So many of our seniors showed up bright and early at 6am for fellowship as they watched the sun come up.

Over 200 rising zebras attended our “Zebras on the Rise” freshmen event this afternoon. This turnout shows our incoming students are excited for high school and eager to be prepared for their first day.

📚 AIM FOR 8! 🎯

Every school day matters! This year, Wayne-Westland Community Schools is launching our Aim for 8 Attendance Campaign to encourage students and families to make regular attendance a priority.

Our goal is simple: Aim for 8 or fewer absences during the school year.

When students are in school every day, they have more opportunities to learn, build relationships, participate in activities and stay on track for success. Even a few missed days can add up and make a difference.

Student passes are available through Go Fan. You must have your student ID to purchase, Students will still need to show ID at the gate when redeeming tickets. The link is below. https://gofan.co/app/school/MI10119

Please note that anybody 18 and under must have a Wayne Memorial HS ID to enter our home sporting events, unless accompanied by a parent. We also don't allow backpacks, outside drinks, coolers, or ski masks. Once anyone leaves the event there is no re-entry.

Students are expected to be picked up immediately following the game.
No Backpacks or School Bags allowed at home events
Students must show ID at the gate when redeeming a ticket
No Re-Entry
*All Elementary and Middle School Students must be accompanied by an adult at all sporting events
