Her Dissertation Title was "Pennsylvania State Mandate Chapter 339 and School Counselors as Leaders: a Phenomenological Study". Her Chair was Dr. David Bronkema, with Dr. Kathy-Ann Hernandez as Co-Chair, and with Dr. Diana Wildermuth as a committee member.

Karen successfully defended her dissertation on Monday, April 21st with her dissertation title "Destructive Leadership, Followers, and Conducive Environments as a Group Process: A Mixed Methods Study within the Technology Industry" Her chair was Dr.Christa Lee-Chuvala, with Dr. Beth Birmingham and Dr. Ron Riggio as members.

His dissertation title was "Crisis Vision Anchoring and Reiteration: a Grounded Theory Study on the Experiences of Ingo Leaders During the Covid-19 Pandemic", his Chair was Dr.Christa Lee-Chuvala, with Dr. Beth Birmingham and Dr. Jim Ludema as committee members.
