✈️ The future of flight takes more than pilots!

It’s National Aviation Day, and we’re celebrating the skilled professionals who help Oklahoma’s aerospace industry soar. ✈️

At Mid-America Technology Center, several of our programs help students build skills that can connect directly to aviation, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing careers:

✅ Welding Technology develops precision welding skills used to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft components and aerospace structures.

✅ CNC Machinist prepares students to manufacture precise parts and components that meet the tight tolerances required in aerospace and aviation.

✅ Industrial Automation builds skills in robotics, controls, and automated systems used in aerospace manufacturing and production facilities.

✅ Broadband Technology develops skills in fiber optics, networking, and communications infrastructure that support connected aviation facilities, aerospace operations, and advanced technology systems.

✅ CADD teaches students to create detailed technical drawings and digital designs for developing, manufacturing, and maintaining aerospace parts and systems.

Behind every aircraft is a skilled workforce—and Mid-America Technology Center is helping prepare the next generation to take flight.

Our Health Careers Explorer students have been putting their knowledge into action this week, practicing CPR and learning how to respond when someone needs help.

It’s been a busy week of learning, practicing, and getting comfortable with a skill that could one day save a life.
