This past month, our students attended Construction Industry Career Day at the NJ Convention & Expo Center. This skilled trades career showcase featured opportunities in masonry, electrical work, virtual engineering, construction, and OSHA pathways.

A special thank you to Mr. Paul Simons for opening doors to experiences that help our students explore potential career paths, discover their God-given gifts, and recognize the dignity and purpose found in meaningful work.

$100 per ticket. Fifteen winners will each receive one round of golf for a foursome at a premier local course.

Congratulations to Jean Caughey on being selected by the Class of 2026 as Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Caughey inspires her students each day both in and out of the classroom. As a theology teacher, she has guided and encouraged many students to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with God.

She is also heavily involved in student life at DePaul Catholic, serving as moderator of Morgan’s Message, Student Council, Midnight Run, and Campus Ministry.

Outside of DePaul, Mrs. Caughey is an active parishioner at Our Lady of Consolation in Wayne, where she serves as the Director of Youth Ministry.

We are incredibly grateful for Mrs. Caughey’s dedication, compassion, and the positive impact she has on DePaul Catholic every day. Her positivity, unwavering faith, and commitment to serving others set a powerful example for our students and will continue to inspire generations of Spartans to come.

DePaul Catholic’s Common Application Summer Workshop helps students get a head start on one of the most important parts of the college process.

Participants will receive support with:
• Common Application completion
• College essay development
• Application organization and planning
• Understanding deadlines and requirements
• Preparing for a successful senior year

By starting early, students can reduce stress, avoid last-minute deadlines, and submit stronger applications.
