For nine years, Mayor Vergano, Wayne Township, Wayne Police Department, and Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse have joined our community to remember lives lost to overdose, support those in recovery, and renew our commitment to hope.

This year, we invite you to stand with us in a Circle of Remembrance at Wayne's Flag Memorial in recognition of International Overdose Awareness.

🌸 Receive a complimentary purple Forget-Me-Not flower as we gather in remembrance, reflection, and hope.

The Township will remain illuminated in purple through September 1 as a symbol of remembrance, recovery, and hope.
This event is free and open to the public.

For nine years, Mayor Chris Vergano and Wayne Township, in collaboration with the Wayne Alliance, Wayne Police and our community, have gathered to remember those we've lost, support recovery and remind families that they are not alone.
On August 24, we'll form that circle again.
And perhaps the most important message we can send to someone struggling, to a parent who is worried, or to a family remembering someone they love is just three words:
Never. Stop. Caring.
