💜 Our heartfelt thanks to Michael's family for sharing this meaningful day with our community.
We were honored to have Mayor Chris Vergano, Senator Kristin Corrado, Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips, Councilman Joseph Scuralli, Donald De Dio, and Matthew Cavallo, longtime Wayne Alliance supporters, join us in remembrance.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Lt. Vincent Ricciardelli and the Wayne Police Department, along with the many residents, volunteers, and community members whose presence made this dedication so special.
🌿 A very special thank you to Wayne Parks & Recreation and the Department of Public Works (DPW) for their collaboration, dedication, and hands-on work in building this beautiful memorial garden. Their combined efforts transformed a meaningful vision into a lasting place of remembrance, reflection, and comfort for our entire community.
We are also grateful to Bart Chou, Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Nataly Balah of Passaic County, for their support and the Stigma-Free grant funding that made the memorial bench possible.

Each of us can share how prevention helps our community.

We aim to prevent substance use in Wayne and prevent the progression of use.

Prevention science shows that prevention education, when started early, works.
Prevention education can reduces risk factors in individuals, families, schools, communities, and society.
Prevention education helps us stay ahead of substance use and mental health challenges because we will never stay ahead of every new substance that can be misused.
Please share our message and invite your friends to volunteer or collaborate on prevention events.
