🌟 Wayne kindergarteners have been busy during the first quarter of school!

🇺🇸 Students took a walk to the courthouse, where they learned about the Veterans Memorial and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

🚒 The Wayne Volunteer Fire Department stopped by for a special visit and gave students a tour of their newest fire truck!

🧩 Rainy days brought plenty of indoor recess fun, with extra time for playing, creating, and spending time with friends!

🏅On Wednesday, October 7th, the Wayne High School Pride of the Blue Devils earned a Superior rating and Best Color Guard at the Pierce Marching Festival!

Up next for the band is the Cougar Marching Festival on Monday, October 12th, Oxbow Marching Band Invitational on Saturday, October 17th, and ending with the NSBA State Marching Band Festival on Saturday, October 24th.

🎓💰 Don't let the cost of college stop you from earning a degree! Financial aid can help make college more affordable. Here are two important steps to get started!

1️⃣ Create a Federal Student Aid Account

Students and contributors (parents or guardians) must each have their own StudentAid account (FSA ID) to complete the FAFSA online.

✅ Already have an FSA ID? There's no need to create another one!

2️⃣ Complete the FAFSA!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine eligibility for federal, state, and college-based financial aid. Students should complete the FAFSA each year they plan to attend college.

📢 Important for Nebraska students: Beginning with the Class of 2027, Nebraska law requires public high school students to complete and submit the FAFSA as a graduation requirement, unless they qualify for an exemption.

Completing the FAFSA is a great way to explore financial aid opportunities and make informed decisions about the future!

Wayne Golf competed at Districts on 10/6! ⛳💙

Hadley Woehler led the Blue Devils with a 130, followed by Gracelynn Daniels with a 127, Avery Gubbels with a 162, Cecilia Judd with a 164, and Damaris Reyes with a 160.
Wayne finished 12th out of 15 teams with a team score of 579.
