WCS Foundation supports “Learning for Life” by working with the school district, alumni, and the community to provide financial support for students.

The purpose of the Wayne Community Schools Foundation is to solicit, manage, and distribute supplemental funds for educational purposes that may not be funded by the District. Funding is supplemental and does not replace or alter use of tax-based revenue. The Wayne Community Schools Foundation also exists to enhance the interaction of Wayne Community Schools’ alumni and friends with the school district.

Happy homecoming week!

Junck Farms will be hosting this week's tailgate at our home football game on Friday. Come hungry as they will be grilling home raised locally processed 5 ounces 100% ground beef patties along with chips and a bottle of water.

Lynn and his family graciously donate the proceeds to the WCS Foundation. This year, the proceeds will be dedicated to expanding our Career and Technical Education programming at Wayne Community Schools.

We want to take second to brag about an awesome group of people who partner with our Foundation.

The Kevin J Murray Memorial Fishing Tournament has brought in over $232,000 over its 22 years. This year's tournament just concluded and it was a HOOT! Even if you're not a fisherman, we strongly recommend attending the dinner and raffle at CJ's At The Lake. The six tables and pool table were overflowing with generous raffle contributions. If you attended, contributed, fished, or helped this weekend, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It really was a fun Saturday!

P.S. Sherry, we hope you enjoy your week off, you earned it!
