The Spartan community mourns the loss of Tommy Vigorito, alumnus Class of 1977. Tommy was a high school All-American who received scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Boston College, Duke, Purdue, Penn State, and Virginia upon graduation. He had an incredible career in football, which began by attending the University of Virginia, playing football for the Cavaliers, and then moving on to play professionally in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins during the Don Shula era. The entire Spartan community mourns Tommy’s death and the lives he has touched throughout his life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and teammates. May he rest in eternal peace. 🕊️
