So fun to have the Goodyear Blimp circling over the church and school. It is in town due to the PGA at Aronimink. The Raccoons were excited to wave to the pilots. We went inside and did some research on the smartboard about the Goodyear Blimp. The blimp is filled with helium and there are three of them.

On Friday, the Pre-K Raccoons class and our Kindergarten were treated to a visit from Mr. Mike (Raccoon teacher’s husband). He brought in his NASA photos of the Apollo project and explained a lot about the rockets that took the astronauts to the moon. What a wonderful wrap-up to our unit on Space and the moon. The students listened with wrapt attention and asked great questions! What a fun and engaging morning at SDEDS!
