We are happy to see your smiling faces again and welcome social engagment and getting our lives back some normalcy we have made some important updates:

We have sanitizing touch less stations throughout the center please sanitize hands prior to touching any toys or equipment. We only allow 5 families to play in a 2hr time slot ( 1 -2 parents per family) is allowed at a time. This is so capacity remains small in order to maintain a socially appropriate atmosphere for children with special needs. All play stations except cubicles and illumination room, are set up for individual interaction and not group play (one child & one parent). The toys themselves are all cleaned with UV LED scanner cleaning by a commercial cleaning company twice a month with FDA approved equipment and sanitizer. The safety of everyone that comes to Vonnies World Activity Center is of high importance to us, please note That although the coronavirus pandemic has ended we "CAN NOT" guarantee that you will not be exposed to or contract covid-19 virus or any other illness therefore be mindful of social spacing, you may wear face mask at your own personal discresion and hand sanitizing is highly encouraged. Be advised that all patrons will sign a disclaimer form prior to ANY AT WILL play and or activity participation. Administration

Electric Storm in a Bottle with Static Sparks

The kind of rainy day fun that’s better than cartoons.

Ingredients:
- 1 clear plastic bottle with cap (16–20 oz)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon silver or white glitter
- Few drops blue or purple food coloring
- 1 Alka-Seltzer tablet (or similar effervescent tablet)
- Wool cloth or balloon (for static charge)
- Optional glow-in-the-dark paint or glitter
- 1 spoon or stir stick for mixing

Directions:
Start by coloring the water with a few drops of food coloring in a small cup, stirring until it's just right. Next, pour the colored water into the bottle until it's halfway full, then gently add the vegetable oil on top, followed by a sprinkle of glitter. After letting the layers settle, you can create some static charge by rubbing the bottle with a wool cloth or a balloon from your hair. Then, break an Alka-Seltzer tablet into pieces and drop one into the bottle before quickly screwing on the cap. Watch as the bubbles rise and the glitter dances, bringing your electric storm to life! If you want to watch the magic again, just give it a gentle shake or recharge that static with a little more rubbing.

Ingredients:

paper plates

food coloring

dish soap

oil

glitter

Steps:

Step 1
Cut paper plates into flower shapes

Step 2
Mix food coloring with a little dish soap

Step 3
Brush the colors onto the petals and add glitter

Step 4
Turn off the lights and watch them glow

Kids always react differently to this one.
