Wear your cap shield with pride, but remember: it’s not the end of the journey — it’s just the beginning!

The Class of 2028 continued nearly 100 years of tradition on Friday when they received their cap shields and officially earned the right to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Corps of Cadets.

This past weekend, our plebes completed the Crucible — the defining line between being a plebe and becoming a Valley Forge Military College Cadet.

From Friday through Saturday afternoon our leadership team put the plebes through a series of mental and physical challenges that provided one final hurdle to cap six hard weeks of training.

They displayed leadership, camaraderie, problem solving, endurance, and perseverance to earn their way into the corps together.
