Our college construction students, at Wayne State College, have been hard at work building quality doghouses as part of their hands-on learning experience in their one of their classes. These doghouses were constructed by students while practicing real-world construction skills including measuring, framing, fastening, roofing, and finishing.

Each doghouse is built with care and makes a great shelter for your furry friend!

We are proud to announce that WSC Accounting Majors Bill Kaveny and Tanner Houck were recently awarded the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) FMAA Program Scholarship (a $2,000 value). This scholarship includes:

-Two years of IMA student membership
-Twelve months of access to Gleim FMAA study materials
-Enrollment in the FMAA certification program
-One free FMAA exam voucher

The Financial and Managerial Accounting Associate (FMAA) exam covers five key competencies: accounting and financial management, financial statements, budgeting, cost and performance management, and professional ethics. This certificate demonstrates a mastery of these skills and will allow these students to stand out among their peers.

WSC is an IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) Partner School.
