The Just Like Me program is coming to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms this year and we are looking for volunteers. JLM is a disability awareness program bringing information, experiential exercises, and guest speakers into your child's classroom. The topics are deafness and hearing loss (3rd grade), learning differences (4th grade), and autism (5th grade). While voluteers typically have a child in the classroom they sign up for, it's not required, so anyone can volunteer and no experience is necessary! Dates are not set yet so there's some flexibility. Currently looking to source as many interested parents as possible. Any questions? Contact Colleen Kurson at [email protected]

You might be surprised by how much the PTO supports! From field trip subsidies and STEAM fairs to the World Fair, talent shows, movie nights, cultural programming, disability programming, staff appreciation, garden days, and more. PTO volunteers and donations help make our school special.

Our Fall Fundraiser has one simple goal: to get every family involved so we can keep these activities and experiences a meaningful part of the Loker student experience. Every contribution helps—and every family’s participation makes a difference. Thank you for supporting the programs that make Loker such a special place to learn and grow!

Fantastic Book Fairs will be back at Loker for the Fall Book Fair, Monday, October 5th through Friday, October 9th!

The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to shop for new books! Each class will visit during school hours to shop for books or alongside their parents at Movie Night on Thursday, October 8th. Volunteers are still needed! Help students select books, run registers, and keep displays organized.

Support Classrooms! Donate to your teacher's book fund to provide new books for your child's classroom. With your contributions, teachers can shop the full catalog of Fantastic Book Fairs books to add to their classroom libraries.

See link in bio for volunteer signups, class schedules, and class book fund contributions.
