๐๐ Claypit Cares 2026: Small Hands, Big Impact ๐๐
This year, Claypit students in grades Kโ5 came together to spread kindness, support our community, and make a difference both locally and beyond. The results are inspiring:
โจ Kindergarteners created 80+ kind notes and thank-you banners for classmates and teachers
โป๏ธ First graders sorted & donated 694 gently used books & stuffed animals, collected 90+ pounds of crayons to be remade into new crayon packs for childrenโs hospitals & recycled markers, pencils, and Legos for reuse
๐ Second graders assembled 160 learning packs and well wishes to help students continue learning throughout the summer
๐พ Third graders donated 142 animal beds and toys to shelter pets and created 50 pinecone bird feeders for local wildlife
๐ฅ Fourth graders put together 160 activity bags and well wishes for children visiting Boston Medical Center ER and created 50+ crafts and cards for Wayland seniors
๐งผ Fifth graders assembled 312 hygiene kits and snack bags, collected clothing donations for families experiencing homelessness, and created 120+ cards, crafts, beaded keychains, and welcome letters for younger students and incoming kindergarteners.
Together, our Claypit community demonstrated the power of compassion, service, and teamwork. Thank you to our students, families, teachers, volunteers, and PTO community for making Claypit Cares 2026 such a meaningful success๐
