Ware County FBLA members had an amazing time this past week at our final member meeting of 2025. Members competed in Christmas trivia for prizes, enjoyed a snack mix bar, and entered drawings for festive holiday gear and candy. Thank you to everyone who showed up to the meeting! 🎄🎄🎄

Thank you to everyone who donated to our candy drive for the month of October. Your donations were greatly appreciated, as they were given to our city’s police department for their Halloween Fall Festival tonight.
Congratulations to our class-vs-class winner! Out of all the IBT classes at Ware County High School, Mrs. Arnold’s class collected the most Halloween candy for this month’s donation project.

Ware County High School Future Business Leaders of America “Embraced the Challenge” at the 2025 State Leadership Conference!
We are proud of all our members who Embraced the Challenge this year but we are extremely proud of the following members for placing in the top 10 at our State Leadership Conference this year. Joy L. and Santiago C. placed 3rd in the state in Sales Presentation. They will automatically advance to Nationals in Anaheim, California this summer. Joy L. also placed fourth in the state in Future Business Leader of America. Tessa D. placed 5th in the state in Introduction to Social Media Strategies. Carlie W. placed 6th in Electronic Career Portfolio. Ally M., Kevin L. and Matthew D. placed 6th in the state in Local Chapter Annual Business Chapter Report. Juan M. placed 9th in the state in Client Service.
Beyond competitive events several members were recognized and awarded for their accomplishments in FBLA’s Community Service Awards and Business Achievement Awards. Members Dallas B., Kevin L. and Rylee M. achieved the 100 Hour Level. Tessa D. achieved the 500 Hour Level. The Business Achievement Awards Program recognizes levels of leadership achievement, each consisting of business, education, and leadership elements. Member Micah R. achieved the Contributor Level. Kevin L. completed Contributor and Leader Level. Juan M. and Rylee M. received completed Contributor, Leader and Advocate Level. Joy L., Dallas B. and Tessa D. completed all four levels including their Capstone project.
Juan M. was recognized and awarded for his service as the 2024-2025 Region 2 President. Joy L. was recognized and awarded for her service as the 2024-2025 GA FBLA State Secretary.
Rylee M., Ally M. and Tessa D. were given the opportunity to host a workshop at SLC called Conquering the Art of Communication, which focused on different types of communications to enhance your communication skills in business and personal life.
Our chapter was awarded several other prestigious awards including the Battle of the Chapters team, comprised of Juan M., Rylee M., and Tessa D. who finished strong with third place out of the top ten chapters in the state. Juan M. and Joy L. were recognized as nominees in Who’s Who in FBLA. Our local chapter also successfully completed and was awarded for the National Champion Chapter program.
Last but not least, our Ware County chapter was awarded Gold Chapter of the Year, the highest level.
