Thank you to Mr. Bryan Hartley, of Clayton Homes, for donating three books to our school. Mr. Hartley has been a member of our Workforce Wednesday speakers and shared with our students how he was writing his own children’s books. Today, he shared those books with us for all of our students! How awesome is that!!!

On Friday, Ms. Williams’ class tested out their magic beads to see what the school year would hold! The anticipation was building up and reactions were unable to be controlled once they saw that Ms. Williams’ beads had changed colors! Each student was given their own set of magic beads to make their wish and try out with their families.

Students in Mrs. Hickox’s fourth grade class worked in groups to squeeze all the toothpaste out of a tube and then tried to put it back in. This activity showed that, just like toothpaste, our words cannot be taken back once they are spoken. It was a meaningful reminder to choose our words carefully and speak with kindness.
