will operate on a two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 28 for students and staff. All schools and offices will open and buses will run two hours later than the normal time.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep all students and staff safe.

Please be aware that the talent show is cancelled.

We are unfortunately going to have to cancel our Talent Show this year due to not meeting the minimum number of entries needed for a successful event. The students who did turn in permission slips should plan for regular dismissal on those dates.
We know how many talented Wolves we have out there and hope to bring it back next year, so be on the lookout!

Staff has been in conversations with emergency management officials and monitoring road conditions throughout the day. Due to winter weather conditions, lingering ice on secondary roads will refreeze tonight, causing dangerous road conditions for buses and drivers.
To keep our students and staff safe, Union County Public Schools will be closed for students and staff on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

• Jan. 27 will be an optional remote workday for employees. Staff may use an annual leave day. Please work with your supervisor if you have questions about your work schedule and duties.
• There is no remote instruction tomorrow and a make-up day is not needed.
• All UCPS facilities will be closed, and all district, school, after-school and athletic events are cancelled.

We will provide a district update about Wednesday’s schedule by tomorrow at 5 p.m.

Due to icy and dangerous road conditions across the county, UCPS will be closed for students and staff on Monday, Jan. 26.

Jan. 26 will be an optional remote workday for employees. Staff may use an annual leave day. Please work with your supervisor if you have questions about your work schedule and duties.
There is no remote instruction tomorrow and a make-up day is not needed.

All UCPS facilities will be closed, and all district, school, after-school and athletic events are cancelled.

UCPS staff will continue to communicate with local and regional emergency management teams to monitor weather and road conditions tonight and tomorrow.
Senior leaders will meet again tomorrow afternoon to hear reports about school buildings, road closures and weather conditions. We will provide an announcement about Tuesday’s schedule by tomorrow at 6 p.m.
