After much prayer and deliberation we have decided to close our doors as of March 2020. We use the Creative Curriculum to enable every learning possibility.
We have enjoyed our time serving our community and look forward to what the future holds for WUMC. We offer hands on environments and opportunities along with loving guidance to help them develop in all learning domains; cognitive, physical, social, emotional, verbal and spiritual. We are now adding chain saw oil, work gloves, and Benadryl, Tylenol/aspirin/etc. Thank you Waxhaw ...the response from the community has been amazing! We are still collecting and have been so fortune to connect with 'boots on the ground' and get these items directly into neighborhoods where they are being distributed! Our community is amazing!! We are still collecting and still have trucks coming from Watauga and Buncombe County to pick up. We have contacts that can deliver to Swannanoa and Black Mtn as well later this week. As we find more contacts in other counties, we will share with them as well. Our goal is for it to leave Waxhaw and go straight to those that need it immediately.

Thank you for making Teacher Appreciation week a success. Tomorrow we are going to end the week big. We are treating our teachers to a catered breakfast from Stacks Kitchen! It wouldn’t be possible without all your help.

Relaxation... That’s one thing we can all agree we need more of. Tomorrow we are going to pamper them. Please bring something you think would allow your teachers to relax and unwind.
