Ashley Garner Blackmon, Charlotte Blackmon and I are driving to Boone tomorrow to clean out her apartment, which flooded on Friday. We’re planning to take some supplies to App State and the area. If anyone would like to donate, feel free to bring things by our house today. We likely will be taking two cars and have plenty of room. From what we’ve seen, they are looking for the following:
* cases of water
* protein bars and granola bars
* diapers (baby and adult)
* baby formula

Let us know if you have any boxes we can use to bring Charlotte’s stuff home too 😀.

It’s amazing what people will do when others need help.
Bethlehem Preschool families and my Women’s Bible study group helped fill our van full of food for the Union County Shelter.
We will continue to take donations. Charlotte Blackmon and I are happy to pick up food (Bonus...we get visit with the kids and they get to pick out books).
If you want to drop off donations there are bins by the preschool doors at Bethlehem UMC.
