The MRMS chess team won 1st place in the Grades 6–8 division at the Tournament of Champions held by the Charlotte Chess Center. The team members were Connor Crosby, Ishan Mahajan, Shrenik Agarwal, & Shaarav Agarwal. Go Mavs!

There will be an All Sports Information Meeting on Monday, May 11th at 6:30 PM in the pit at MRMS for rising 6th graders.
This meeting will cover all school-sponsored sports as well as booster club sports for the fall, winter, and spring seasons.

Congratulations to a couple of Mavs who won awards in the 2026 NCSMC Final-Charlotte: Rishi Chakravanthy, Level 2: 1st place, & William Lin, Level 2: 2nd place. Great job!
