✨We had a wonderful time at our first ever end of the year banquet! It was a fantastic year, full of fabulous people and frequent success! While we will miss our Seniors, we are wishing them the brightest and boldest futures! So excited to see all that they will accomplish and we are already ready to hit the ground running next year!✨

This past weekend marked the conclusion of our competitive season, with Daniel Bowman placing 10th at the Regional LD Debate Tournament. We're so proud of Daniel and all of our debaters' remarkable achievements throughout this school year!

On Friday, our LD Team made us proud at District! Daniel Bowman took home 1st place and booked a ticket to Regionals. Kennedy Mitchell and Julian Fam followed with 5th and 9th place wins respectively. Together, they helped WHS sweep District Champ and Top Speech Team titles for a record-breaking FOURTH YEAR IN A ROW! Next, check us out at Baylor University for Regionals on April 24-25!

Congratulations to the team of Jaliyah Reed-Fulcher & Alexis White who won 1st place at CX Debate District today! Alexis also earned the prestigious achievement of Top Speaker! This win will qualify these two students to the CX State Competition on March 20-21 for the SECOND year in a row! Be sure to stay tuned, we have epic things in store!
